About this wine

Acústic Blanc is a terroir-driven white from old bush vines in Montsant, mostly Garnatxa Blanca with Pansal (Xarel·lo) and Macabeu, grown organically on poor, stony soils. The must is fermented partly in stainless steel and partly in oak, then aged a few months on its lees to build texture while preserving freshness. The 2023 shows ripe orchard and stone fruits, Mediterranean herbs and a subtle creamy, nutty layer, finishing saline and appetising. It sits in a nice middle ground between easy drinkability and real complexity, making it ideal for refined everyday drinking and restaurant glass lists.

Tasting Note

Wine Advocate describes a vibrant, medium-bodied white with pear and peach fruit, fennel and thyme, a touch of creaminess from lees and a long, sapid, slightly bitter-saline finish that enhances drinkability.

In the glass

Pale straw with green highlights and light viscosity.

In the nose

Pear, white peach, fennel, dried herbs, crushed almond and a hint of citrus peel.

On the palate

Medium-bodied, textured and fresh, with ripe stone fruit and pear, herbal lift, subtle creamy lees notes and a clean, slightly bitter, mineral finish.

Acústic Celler

Acústic Celler champions old native vines – particularly Garnacha and Carinyena – in Montsant. The wines are soulful, generous and slightly rustic in the best way, with dark berries, spice and Mediterranean garrigue framed by freshness. The philosophy is to “play the music of the vineyard” with minimal make-up.
