La Fussière is the largest climat in Maranges, and Bachelet-Monnot’s parcels sit on steep, south-facing slopes with limestone-rich soils and old vines. The domaine has become a benchmark here: the wine combines dark cherry and raspberry fruit with floral notes, spice and a distinct rocky edge. In 2023 it’s medium-bodied but concentrated, with bright acidity and fine, powdery tannins giving both early drinkability and ageing potential.
