About this wine

Brovia’s Barolo DOCG is anything but basic, built on a core of fruit from Brea and Gianetto with additional lots from renowned crus such as Rocche di Castiglione, Villero and Garblèt Sue’. The 2020 vintage is described as striking in its sheer appeal, with aromas of ripe red and black cherry, plum, cedar, leather and mint. On the palate it’s deep and generous yet balanced, with fine, persistent tannins, fresh acidity and a caressing finish that suggests 10–15 years of positive development in the cellar.

Brovia

Brovia is a classic Barolo producer with top holdings in crus like Rocche and Villero. The wines are traditionally vinified, with long macerations and large cask aging, giving structured, precise and terroir-faithful expressions of Nebbiolo. They show purity rather than flash, and age superbly.
