The wine typically sees about 30 days on the skins with regular pump-overs before ageing in large 60 hl Slavonian oak botti, followed by one year in concrete, emphasising purity over heavy oak. Expect aromas of dark cherry and berry fruit, rose and violets with hints of spice and earthy minerality, and a medium-plus bodied palate with firm yet refined tannins and fresh acidity. This is serious Barolo from a young producer quickly gaining a cult following.
