Barolo del Comune di La Morra is Bussolo’s village-level Barolo, blending several top parcels around La Morra to express the commune’s trademark elegance. The 2021 offers lifted aromas of red cherry, rose, blood orange and sweet spice, with hints of liquorice and underbrush. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied, intensely flavoured but not heavy, with finely grained tannins and vibrant acidity giving tension and length. It’s a poised, modern-classical Barolo that can be enjoyed within a few years but also has the structure for mid-term ageing.
