About this wine

Dolcetto d’Alba “A Elizabeth” is made from organically farmed, old-vine Dolcetto in Barbaresco’s Rio Sordo and Tre Stelle crus. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel to keep the fruit bright and unadorned. Descriptions of recent vintages highlight a violet-purple colour and a bouquet of violets, wild roses, dark berries, licorice and warm spices. On the palate it is light to medium-bodied, crunchy and elegant, with high acidity, fine tannins and a vibrant, mouth-watering finish – a perfect everyday Piedmont red.
