About this wine

Catena Alta Chardonnay 2022 is drawn from a selection of the Catena family’s best high-altitude vineyards in Agrelo, Villa Bastías, Gualtallary and El Cepillo. Each site contributes a different layer: citrus and peach from Agrelo, riper stone fruit from Villa Bastías and intense floral, mineral lift from the higher parcels. The result is an elegant but concentrated white with real depth, fine oak integration and a mouth-watering saline finish. It’s a serious food wine that will shine with everything from roast chicken to richer seafood dishes.

Tasting Note

Critics describe recent vintages of Alta Chardonnay as combining ripe orchard and tropical fruit with pastry notes, smoky mineral tones and vibrant acidity, finishing long and creamy but never heavy.
