About this wine

Made from 35–45+-year-old bush vines across the Coastal Region, this Chenin is hand-harvested and vinified parcel by parcel. The juice is barrel-fermented and aged about 12 months on the lees in French oak barriques (around half new), giving a creamy texture and complex aromatics of honeyed stone fruit, citrus, vanilla and sweet spice. The 2023 vintage offers a generous, ripe profile yet retains enough acidity to keep things balanced, making it a natural partner for rich seafood, poultry and creamy dishes.
