About this wine

Poderi Luigi Einaudi’s Barolo Bussia 2016 comes from one of Monforte d’Alba’s most revered vineyards. The wine opens with aromas of rose, dark spice and menthol, followed by red cherry, raspberry and a touch of licorice. On the palate it is taut and focused, with finely grained tannins and a long, savoury finish that promises excellent development in bottle. The 2016 vintage, with its classic balance, gives extra precision and length, placing this wine firmly in the “serious cellar” category.
