About this wine

San Filippo farms on the eastern side of Montalcino and vinifies in a style that balances richness with freshness. The 2016 Brunello shows ripe red and black cherry, plum and spice with notes of cedar, licorice and earth. It’s medium-full, with generous fruit, well-integrated oak and a firm but not austere structure. A very versatile, food-friendly Brunello.
