About this wine

Rennina blends three top sites around the Pieve Santa Restituta church into a single, high-precision expression of Sangiovese. In 2016 it shows dark cherry and plum layered with spice, balsamic hints, cedar and mineral tones, all carried by vibrant acidity and silky but firm tannins. The oak is beautifully integrated, giving a glossy texture without masking the terroir. A serious, ageworthy Brunello that sits firmly in the “modern classic” camp.
