About this wine

Jérémy Recchione works tiny parcels across Burgundy with a low-intervention philosophy: organic farming, native yeasts, minimal sulphur and élevage in older barrels. Les Cerisiers is his Bourgogne Aligoté, often sourced from old vines on limestone soils, and in 2023 it offers lively aromas of lemon, green apple and white flowers, with a faint herbal edge. The palate is taut and saline with a slightly creamy mid-palate from lees ageing, finishing on mouth-watering citrus and chalk. It’s a brilliant aperitif and pairs well with raw seafood, fried snacks or goat’s cheese.

Tasting Note

Critics emphasise the cuvée’s freshness, finesse and “haute couture” precision, describing Recchione’s whites as sublimely fine and saline.

In the glass

Pale straw with a slight haze if unfiltered.

In the nose

Bright lemon and green apple with white flowers, crushed stone and a faint herbal note.

On the palate

Lithe and linear, with electric acidity, salty minerality and a touch of lees texture on the mid-palate.

Jeremy Recchione

Jérémy Recchione runs a micro-négoce that vinifies small parcels from across Burgundy (and occasionally beyond) with a strong emphasis on finesse and drinkability. Grapes are sourced from carefully chosen growers, and the cellar work favours gentle extraction, modest oak and a clear, lifted fruit profile. Whether Aligoté, Hautes-Côtes or village-level sites, the wines feel thoughtful, vivid and finely detailed.
