About this wine

One of the estate’s aromatic, fossil-soil-driven wines. Barrel fermentation and ageing for a year, very long lees maturation, and zero dosage at disgorgement. That results in a Champagne that is broader and more vinous than a simple chalky Blanc de Blancs, but still firmly mineral.

Tasting Note

A more aromatic and chalk-shaped wine, with texture first and a very dry, long finish.

In the glass

Pale gold.

In the nose

Likely citrus and white-flower tones with chalky lift.

On the palate

Deeply textured and vinous, with a dry, chalky finish.

Legrand Latour

A small grower domaine led by Thibault Legrand-Latour, producing highly characterful, terroir-driven Champagnes—often Meunier-centred—from a limited vineyard base (commonly cited around 4 hectares). The estate is notable for its move to biodynamics (Demeter certification in 2019) and for vinification and ageing linked to the famed “Cave aux Coquillages” (shell-fossil cellars), a signature element of the domaine’s identity and style.
