About this wine

The 2016 Monprivato is built on cool-vintage clarity and focus. Fruit is in the red spectrum – cherry, raspberry – with layers of rose, spice, licorice and subtle mineral/iron notes. The structure is firm, with high acidity and fine, chalky tannins that carry the flavours through a very long finish. This is less immediately generous than 2015 but arguably even more complete, and will reward extended cellaring.
