About this wine

Massolino’s Langhe Chardonnay comes from vineyards in Serralunga and is vinified partly in French oak barriques and partly in cement and stainless steel. The 2023 shows a straw-to-pale-gold colour and an inviting nose of ripe apple, pear and peach, with floral hints, mineral tones and discreet vanilla from the oak. The palate is warm, broad and enveloping yet kept in check by fresh acidity and a long, subtly toasty finish. It’s a serious white that can accompany richer fish dishes, white meats and creamy risottos, and has the structure to age several years.
