About this wine

Il Bricco is Pio Cesare’s flagship Barbaresco, produced only from estate vines in a high-lying vineyard above Treiso. The 2018 shows ripe black cherry and plum, violet and rose, with nuances of spice and underbrush. The palate is medium-plus-bodied, with finely knit tannins and fresh acidity giving drive and length. Oak is well integrated, adding polish and a hint of sweet spice without distracting from the Nebbiolo typicity.
