About this wine

Helichrysum is San Polino’s flagship bottling from select Sangiovese parcels, certified organic and biodynamic. 2013 delivers dark cherry and blackberry with notes of dried flowers (helichrysum), herbs, incense, spice and a distinct mineral streak. The palate is powerful yet vibrant, with firm, grippy tannins and long, savory length. It’s a serious, character-driven Brunello that rewards decanting or further cellaring.
