About this wine

Pierre-Yves chose to bottle a village Meursault assembled from several important lieu-dits rather than isolating them all separately. 60% Narvaux, 20% Vireuils and 20% Grands Charrons. That parcel mix explains the wine’s profile: hillside freshness and chalk from the higher sites, but enough texture and breadth to remain unmistakably Meursault.

Tasting Note

Crisp orchard fruit, praline, lemon oil and dried white flowers, with a medium- to full-bodied palate that is satiny, layered, bright and chalky, finishing long.

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is one of the leading names in modern white Burgundy, renowned for precise, chiselled and deeply mineral Chardonnays. Low yields, careful pressing, minimal bâtonnage and extended lees aging create wines of tension and energy rather than overt richness. From village Meursault to grands crus like Bâtard-Montrachet, they are built for both intellectual pleasure and long-term aging.
