About this wine

The “Lindes de Remelluri” wines are sourced from old-vine grower parcels in the villages that surround the Remelluri estate (Labastida and San Vicente de la Sonsierra), vinified at the bodega. The 2021 San Vicente/ Labastida reds are blends dominated by Tempranillo with Garnacha and other local grapes, aged about 12 months in French oak. They show ripe black fruits, grilled spices and herbs, with a round, fleshy mid-palate and polished tannins. Despite the richness, there is fresh acidity and a long, lightly spicy finish that clearly reflects their high-quality origin.

James Suckling: round, fleshy Rioja with black fruit, grilled spices and herbs; volume and flesh on the palate with polished, creamy tannins, fresh acidity and a long, lightly spicy finish.
