About this wine

Pertimali sits on the cooler northern side of Montalcino, on limestone-rich soils that give aromatic, finely structured Sangiovese. The 2018 Brunello offers red and black cherry, orange peel, cigar wrapper, spice and gamey hints over a deeply mineral core. Despite the relatively high ripeness, it feels precise, vertical and focused, with vibrant acidity and long, savory tannins. A real “insider” Brunello that ages extremely well.

Tasting Note

The Sorting Table note describes a youthful bouquet of red and black cherries, orange peel, cigar wrapper, brown spice, game and woodsmoke, with a beautifully precise, soil-driven palate and refined tannins.
