About this wine

Collection Privée Édition n°13 focuses entirely on Meunier from Le Murget in the Vallée de l’Ardre as a single-parcel expression. Unlike the domaine’s barrel-aged parcel wines, this cuvée spends three full years in stainless steel, preserving the purity, energy and varietal personality of Meunier without an overlay of oak. It is neither fined nor filtered and is finished with only 1 g/L dosage, keeping the wine extremely dry and direct. The result is a precise Blanc de Meunier with orchard fruit, flowers and gentle pastry notes framed by a fine mineral freshness.

Tasting Note

A pure, stainless-steel-raised Meunier expression centred on fresh orchard fruit, floral lift and mineral freshness, with the extended elevage providing additional texture and subtle lees complexity.

In the glass

Pale gold with a fine, steady mousse.

In the nose

Pear, yellow apple, white flowers and subtle pastry notes.

On the palate

Clean and focused, with orchard fruit, fine mousse, lively freshness and a very dry mineral finish.

Sylvie Moreau

Champagne Sylvie Moreau is a small family estate in Sainte-Euphraise-et-Clairizet in the Montagne de Reims. Sylvie and Olivier Moreau took over the domaine in 1991, while the vineyards have been moving toward organic farming since 2020; the wines are particularly focused on Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, with an increasingly strong emphasis on individual parcels and terroir.
