About this wine

This Sauvignon comes from reddish clayey soils over calcareous rock with white dolomitic stone at 300–380 metres altitude, a terroir that gives both ripeness and marked mineral clarity.

Tasting Note

The wine is concentrated and mineral, with varietal intensity and freshness rather than simple grassy pungency.

In the glass

Pale straw with green reflections

In the nose

Varietal Sauvignon notes with citrus, herbs and mineral lift

On the palate

Concentrated and fresh, with strong extract, fine acidity and a mineral finish.

Kellerei Terlan

Cantina Terlano is a renowned cooperative in Alto Adige, famous for age-worthy, mineral whites from steep, Alpine vineyards. Wines like Vorberg, Monticol and Terlaner blends combine ripe fruit with cutting acidity and a distinct smoky, saline note. The cellar’s library tastings have proved these whites can evolve beautifully for decades.
