About this wine

Vorberg is one of Terlan’s most celebrated wines, a Pinot Bianco from terraced vineyards on the steep slopes of the Monzoccolo mountain. The 2022 shows a brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and a multi-layered bouquet of honeydew melon, white peach, pear, Golden Delicious apple, quince jelly, chamomile and pineapple, wrapped in notes of flint. On the palate it combines ripe fruit and creamy texture with savoury, salty nuances, vibrant acidity and a very long, focused finish. It’s a noble, ageworthy Pinot Bianco with a track record for evolving beautifully in bottle.

Kellerei Terlan

Cantina Terlano is a renowned cooperative in Alto Adige, famous for age-worthy, mineral whites from steep, Alpine vineyards. Wines like Vorberg, Monticol and Terlaner blends combine ripe fruit with cutting acidity and a distinct smoky, saline note. The cellar’s library tastings have proved these whites can evolve beautifully for decades.
