About this wine

Made from 100% Sangiovese planted in 2004, Ottantadue is sourced from cooler, high-altitude parcels and vinified to emphasise freshness and drinkability. The 2021 shows crunchy red cherry, wild strawberry and pomegranate with hints of herbs and spice. Ageing is primarily in stainless steel (around 14 months) with a short period in bottle before release, preserving fruit purity and vibrant acidity. It’s a graceful, terroir-driven Tuscan red ideally suited to charcuterie, pasta and lighter meats.
