About this wine

Sourced from clay-limestone and gravel plots across Ribera, Alión 2021 shows black cherry, plum, blueberry, violets and graphite wrapped in fine, smoky French oak. The texture is plush but not heavy, with polished tannins and a line of acidity that keeps everything lifted. It’s conceived as a more immediate, contemporary expression than Único or Valbuena, but still offers serious ageing potential.
